Christmas in Panama

Since Panama is predominantly Catholic, most of the major cities in the country suddenly becomes alive with Christmas cheer. Christmas in Panama is a fiesta with Christmas trees, fake mistletoe, multicolored Santa hats and brightly lit lanterns in the shape of a star (to depict the star of Bethlehem). They also have a fondness for parades.
