Surfing In Baja, Mexico

By BobbyRica | January 6, 2009

Going to Mexico to go wave riding can be one awesome experience. Mexico is one of the great frontiers of surfing. With Mexico’s sprawling coastline, there is an incredible variety of surf spots that you can find and adventures worth having.

I enjoy surfing in Mexico simply because there are many uncrowded breaks scattered along the coast. I can find reef breaks and point breaks. And there are many beach breaks to go to.

But if you’re surfing just for the pleasure of it and not for sport, Baja is by far the easiest and most accessible place to go to. It’s near California. You can be surfing plenty of world class spots within a few hours of the border.

In this video, Dana Barre, Adam Cohen and Chuck Patterson go surfing at Baja, Mexico. Let’s watch these dudes have fun in the surf.
