By BobbyRica | May 29, 2009

Costa Rica is blessed with all the natural splendor of God’s given graces. And Tamarindo is one of them. Tourists would immediately associate the bay for its lovely beaches and their aqueous activities ranging from surfing to snorkeling and everything else in between.

The entire beach of Tamarindo measures three and a half kilometers of unadulterated glory that every saltwater lover should experience. The area undergoes sunny weather throughout the year, but it would be best to take note of the scattered shower and thunderstorms in the month of May to October. Although the warm and fuzzy feeling of being under the sun is compromised, the rain does provide a spectacular sight of the sparkling beach horizon during late afternoon.

The awesome body of water surrounding the area is complimented by the equally riveting mountainsides on its east. Such glorious surroundings and resources should presuppose a diverse group of organism and creatures, which can be visited in the National Parks located on the north and south of the beach. Different varieties of turtles, monkeys, iguanas can be seen not only on the parks itself, but also in certain parts of Tamarindo at their natural habitat. Just as much as the beaches take credit for the beauty of the land, the biodiversity of Tamarindo reveals much of the idyllic living conditions boasted in its parts.

The diversity of activities in Tamarindo extends beyond the beaches such as horseback riding, beauty spa, pottery shops, and art galleries that will enable everybody to bask into the exotic and magnificent culture that is Costa Rica.

There is more to learn about Tamarindo. Look up on basic local information such as maps, weather reports, tide charts, local news, and well-taken shots from Costa Rica’s finest photographers. They will surely aid your itinerary should you decide to step foot in one of the finest bays in Costa Rica.
