Paul and Derek Discover Costa Rica

The two brothers from Lonely Planet’s “Sick of Home” went to Costa Rica recently and shot a few episodes about the country. Here are two episodes to whet your appetite. Paul and Derek Rose visited Costa Rica’s eco-friendly spots. There, they managed to sample fresh vegetables right out of the ground, to drinking from a “Costa Rican drinking fountain”, and learning how to prepare the perfect cup of coffee. These guys had been busy.

In this other episode, the two brothers discover sleeping in the trees near Santa Clara. They also manage to avoid making roadkill in the road, learn to surf in the fun beaches of Nosara, jump from a helicopter and experience being tossed around like a ragdoll from a river raft. And for the ladies? Derek surprises us by wearing a bikini.
