Got lucky on my way to Manuel Antonio…

Last week, my good buddy Danno, from Danno’s Tiki Hut, and another good friend of mine…were all down in Jaco enjoying the beach and sites. We decided to rent a car and head about 65km south to Manuel Antonio. More on Manuel Antonio later…but, while we were heading through the next nearest town to MA, a small place on the water, called Quepos, I noticed one of the first shops on the left was a *HAND ROLLED CUBAN CIGAR SHOPPE*.

Did my eyes just lie to me? A hand rolled cigar shop down here? I immediately made Danno hang a u-turn, and we went back.

We walked into this small shop, complete with an elderly male and female roller, and chihuahua of course! Their fantastic humidor was full of self-rolled, fresh bones.

Notice the elderly gent and chihuahua in the reflection? What a great little shop, I highly recommend it. Next stop Manuel Antonio!
