Destiny’s New Child

She was exquisite. moving with a grace that Bobby rarely sees. She had dark skin, dark, curly hair, and hips that moved as if independent from the rest of her body. Her gyrations hypnotized Bobby in a way that kept him watching and made him forget about the scores of other hot women that graced the little bar. He was completely enamored. He turned to the bartender, hoping for information.

“Carlos, can you please enlighten me as to who that glorious thing on the dance floor is?” Bobby asked with a rather adventurous tone. Carlos responded with what seemed to Bobby was a controlled chuckle.

“Oh no, Mr. Bobby, I don’t think even you can get her.” Carlos taunted.

“Why not? Is she married?”

“No.”

“Lesbian?”

“I don’t think so.”

“Some figment of my imagination?”

“You are being silly Mr. Bobby.”

“That settles it then. Before the sun rises she will know what it’s like to be treated the way only Bobby could treat a woman.”

“I would not get my hopes up, Mr. Bobby.”

This statement from Carlos caused Bobby to shake his head in disbelief. After all, in the times that Bobby had breezed through town, Carlos has always been one of his most ardent supporters. ”You wound me, Carlos. Why in the world would you think that this fair maiden and I are not destined to intertwine?”

“You see, Mr. Bobby, she had turned down every man she had met here in this bar since she had stated coming here. No one has been good enough for her.”

“Well, at least the law of averages is on my side.” Bobby replied with that trademark grin of his.

“Huh? What you say?” Carlos asked.

“Watch and learn my friend. And while you’re at it, get me another beer. It is going to be one memorable night for yours truly.”
