Helpful Tips For Costa Rica Travelers
Now that you have been acquainted with most of the Caribbean travel and exotic places in Costa Rica, it’s time to fill in the gaps with information that would probably help your stay in the country a most memorable and comfortable one.

Arrange for a ride from the hotel drivers.
It is most convenient for you to make arrangements with the hotel transportation to fetch you from the airport. You will be greeted with a horde of cab drivers nagging for a ride upon arrival, and although there are far from evil, they can get really aggressive, and there is a possibility that they will hike up their service fares. Therefore, reserve a ride someone from the hotel to drive you and avoid stressful conflict.

Costa Rica is a spider’s paradise.
Tourists with arachnophobia or any kind of fear related to insects should probably think twice in the places they visit in Costa Rica. Being an eco-friendly country, our land hosts approximately 800,000 kinds of insects, and that included almost 21,000 varieties of spiders. Although nature lovers would busy themselves in naming each and every one of them on the spot, some would rather crawl back to bed and wait ’til the whole trip is over.

Be mindful that drug trafficking does take place here.
This isn’t to persuade tourists from traveling our country, but it simply needs to be said to inform you all of the possible risks out there. Drug smuggling has been rampant all over the world, and Costa Rica is one of the checkpoints of drug trafficking in Central America. The stashes are carefully packed inside bags and luggage that sometimes escape the keen eye of the law. Therefore, you must be extra careful with your luggage by attaching a name tag on them and bringing your bags at all time. You simply can never tell what will happen.
Of course, never forget to relax and have fun. The laid-back people of Costa Rica will definitely remind you of this.
