Taking a Caribbean travel or exotic vacation in Costa Rica would definitely call for you to wear board shorts for guys and swimsuits for gals. However, purchasing and wearing the right swimwear for you is not as easy as it looks. Below are some of the guidelines that you have to take into consideration before having fun on the shore:

Always accentuate your best body part. If you notice, people with flat or ripped tummies usually expose them by wearing a two-piece bikini or low-cut shorts. Of course, it also follows that people on the beach will stare and ogle on their yummy abs. Also, females with fabulous breasts wear daring tops that flaunt their cleavage, much to the delight of the male contingent! In other words, go for what looks good in order to get attention from the crowd.

Hide your insecurities. Women find it difficult to have a great time on the beach while not feeling sorry because their bodies don’t look good like the others. In this case, women can wear a one-piece that has a black design on the waistline to hide the curves and look sexy.

Avoid looking short. Guys have the tendency to have small legs whenever they wear long board shorts. As much as possible, wear board shorts that have their cut above or a little bit below the knee in order to keep yourself from looking like a hobbit.

Wear something comfortable! I cannot stress this highly enough. People can flaunt and boast their bodily goods, but if they can’t swim properly with their swimwear, then it’s pretty much useless. Remember, you wear something for function, not for aesthetic purposes.
