Saying GoodBye To The Philippines

A few more days in Vigan made me think of my home in Costa Rica. The Philippines was a great diversion. Even though I was having the time of my life here, I missed the waves back home.

Visiting Vigan, Ilocos Sur (conclusion)

We hit the beaches after lunch, hoping to find a sweet spot along the coast. The first few beaches offered mostly mush and crappy waves, and we moved farther north in search of bigger surfs. You know, when you’ve set your mind on great surfing, not just any spot will do.

Visiting Vigan, Ilocos Sur (Part I)

It’s been a wild ride so far and I and the guys are having the time of our lives. We said goodbye to the Wahines in La Union and decided to continue north along the west coast of the Philippines, to the town of Vigan, Ilocos Sur Province. The spirit of adventure was upon us, and who knows what pleasant surprises awaited us at the next beach!
