There’s nothing more relaxing and spectacular than waxing your surf board on scarcely populated beaches and surfing in empty waters. This is why traveling to Costa Rica’s northwestern province of Guanacaste is a necessity for all surfers. It is the most scarcely populated part of Costa Rica, so finding a solitary beach isn’t out of the question. This location also is home to some of the best surf schools and camps in the country, for those surfers just starting out.
