A Reason To Visit Cuba 3
Isla de la Juventud (Isle of Youth) is probably the best diving spot you could ever find in the Caribbean. Its waters are sustained by the life giving warm currents of the Gulf of Mexico. Isla de la Juventud is home to a remarkable array of diverse coral and marine sea life. The island lies almost directly south of Havana and Pinar del Río. There are fifty-six well-marked dive sites consisting of undersea caves, passages, walls and hillocks made of coral. One can also go diving at Bajo de Zambo where seventy remains of fallen ships lay quietly on the briny deep.
