Speak Like A True Jerga 3

If you’re traveling from Lima to Punta Sal, you may wonder why your Peruvian driver keeps on saying GRIFO (gree-foh) everytime you pass by a town. Don’t fret, he’s not referring to a water faucet. The word is derived from GRIFERIA (gree-feh-ree-yah)) or pipes. He’s just asking to get your jeep another full tank of gas.
