Bullfighting during Christmas.

This Christmas I am spending my day in the hospital, thankfully with Stefani and her family by my side. I had to rescue her again, and this time she got a real scolding from her parents for her death wish.

Christmas among my ticans.

Eva was not quite thrilled to see me. She was helping her parents set up their *portal* (the traditional Costa Rican Christmas manger) when Stefani and I got home. There was a conspicuous distance in that embrace, that kiss. Maybe she had been with one too many boys while I was away.

How I celebrate Christmas.

Soon, Stefani was the one cheering me up with thoughts of meeting Eva and their family again. Eva had had a few flings, but she never forgot about me, Stefani beamed.
