The Man From Nosara

He calls himself Franklyn de Nosara or just Frank. Nobody knows what real name is but who cares? He’s a unique character. He may look like a cool local (with a machete) but he admits he’s born and bred in Brooklyn. My friend Dave met him when he found himself walking the beaches of Nosara. Like most expats who have made Costa Rica their home, Frank was quite friendly and outgoing. He and Dave hit it off right away and had become good buddies.

How to Date a Costa Rican Woman

If there’s one thing about Costa Rica that is more beautiful than the country itself, it has to be the women. Nothing can be more charming than a Ticowith lovely black eyes, long dark hair, and sun-kissed olive skin. Indeed, I find Costa Rican women very mesmerizing. I often admired them whenever I go on my Costa Rica adventures, whether in the city or country.

Finding Good Eats in Costa Rica

I had the pleasure of staying for a few weeks in the lovely city of San Jose, Costa Rica as a foreign exchange student. Although I know I was there to study, I couldn’t help but feel more like a tourist–I viewed San Jose and its busy streets, museums, and bustling night life, as an adventure waiting to unfold…but that’s another story. What I want to reminisce about now is the food.
