Wild Goose Chase In Havana (part 1)
The path from Playa Chiquita to Havana wasn’t painless. There were a lot of agencies willing to book trips and tours to Cuba, but this trip was too urgent to wait a week or even a few days. Fortunately, flights from airline carriers TACA and COPA were plentiful, and I made quick arrangements for a return trip via COPA after a few phone calls and a mad rush to the airport.

This is why traveling to Costa Rica’s northwestern province of Guanacaste is a necessity for all surfers. It is the most scarcely populated part of Costa Rica, so finding a solitary beach isn’t out of the question. This location also is home to some of the best surf schools and camps in the country, for those surfers just starting out.
